The aim of this research study was to understand livelihood and productivity related uses of mobile telecommunications at the BOP, with special focus on those employed in the agriculture sector. The Teleuse@BOP 4 publication presents key findings about rural agronomic systems, livelihoods, dimensions of productivity and the role of information and mobile media in enabling livelihoods productivity. It also proposes concept ideas on new information flow scenarios and systems that can be facilitated by mobiles and radically enhance BOP productivity.
